Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

I already own an ARIA PE-STD and like it so much that I wanted the higher quality version with a set neck. I bought this guitar from an authorised ARIA dealer on eBay. I paid $499 after taxes.

This is an excellant guitar. Excellant playablity, great sound and feel. Awesome tone. Looks great too, it has a flame, maple carved top with gold hardware. It's alot like a LES PAUL, but more comfortable to play with a thinner, contured body and heal-less neck joint. Not to mention a way more reasonable price.

I like everything about this guitar. No complaints.

Body has a mahogony back with flame, caved maple top. Maple set neck, 22f frets with rosewood fingerboard, very sharp looking split block MOP inlays. Gold hardware and duncan design pickups. Abalone outline throughout. This is a quality instrument.

Great guitar, great value. I don't understand why ARIA guitars don't get the respect they deserve. Very well built guitars, will easily stand up to any other "better known" brand.
